It was like ‘Crossing the Red Sea’ to start the training of batch 29 amidst of this crisis. Our president, Dr. Paul Kim has told me that we only need seven (7) missionary trainees and we are good to start. But we only have three (3) at that time and the two wanted to quit and go home. The other students outside Samal who are waiting were also discouraged and frustrated by the situation, wanting to quit.
It was heart-breaking to realize that what I/we mostly hear and get is not encouragement but rather oppositions, discouragements, negative words and other people were just waiting for what will happen.
Voices of fear, doubt, worries, lies, intimidation and accusations from the devil and some people who surround us were telling us to “Stop! It will not work out.” “The world is in crisis and so there will be less or no support, no sponsors and no trainees/students.” “You do not qualify to lead these people, you are only a beginner.” “You are physically weak.” “Everybody is quitting, so just quit.”
But it is in this season where we depend on God and in His Word, not on our own confidence but on the RESURRECTION POWER OF CHRIST JESUS, our living hope.
“God never failed to EMPOWER us and the CRY of our hearts WORK POWERFULLY.” The Lord of the harvest heard our unceasing prayers and crying day and night, “that GOD will RAISE UP and SEND OUT more workers who will be trained and equipped for a massive global missions movement.”
On June 12, 2020 at 6:30PM during our prayer and fast, the Word of God in Isaiah 43:19 has dawned on me as a new song: “See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” It was and is a song and shout of victory, for the LORD is a WAYMAKER and He indeed opened the way and streams of provision for this season.
Thank you for never giving up in praying with us.
Let us be STRONG and COURAGEOUS! Be STEADFAST and LET NOTHING MOVE you! Let nothing stop us in pressing on for the gospel to be preached to the whole world for which God has called us.
Let’s Make it Happen!

There is no ‘New Normal’ for the Missions
Season changes from ‘Normal’ to ‘New Normal’, but God’s faithfulness never changes towards His people.
At the Mission Motivators, we are in the middle of celebrating His faithfulness throughout the past 20 years in spite of Covid-19 pandemic. We believe we tried to be faithful at our best towards doing what He called us to do: Mobilize, Recruit, Train people to serve Christ and Proclaim that Jesus Christ is the Lord!
By His grace, no season will stop us doing His mission work around the world. Our training team in Samal are working hard preparing a program starting on July 4th.
As you read our updates, be encouraged that your partnership is going to make the Mission Motivators move forward and working prudently in every season regardless of its challanges.
Blessings and protections to all,
Dr. Paul D. Kim

HOPE in the midst of Crises
God is perpetually showing His great love and compassion to the lost. To exhibit His love He sends His people to the nations as bridges of hope and blessings, bringing good news of salvation and carrying God’s glory to be known to the people. Prior to the global pandemic crisis that locks down borders of every nation, six of the batch 28 “Invincible Nations’ Invaders” crosses the nations of Cambodia, Laos and Saudi Arabia not afraid of Covid-19 or any viruses but hopeful to heal the people and dying land through Jesus Christ.
The longings of the human heart to build bridges yearning for hope, peace, love and joy and of a meaningful life that is in Christ, is the greatest Gospel the Holy Spirit can upraise through us. A bridge that which it will take the people into the path of a deeper relationship and compassion for God.

Upon His Hands
Not all Christian heroes are spiritually high. Some have acknowledged their nothingness.
But this is the thing others don’t know about your spiritual journey when they thought you are in your spiritual pedestal – the more you become closer to God, the more you see your vulnerabilities. And it is only between you and the Lord who knows you are ‘devastatingly weak’.
Only the sad part of it is when others concludes your high spirituality yet when they see flaws in you, they tend to judge you are not trustworthy or subject you to follow how they have managed their own weakness – forgetting that each one has their own journey of intimacy with God – that real intimacy, able to recognize nothingness before Him.
So as long as you know you have accepted your true spiritual condition before God and is allowing Him to recreate you for ways you do not know how or maybe hurting at this moment, believe that time will come you’d end up becoming the most beautiful craft of your own upon His hands – with a purpose. ❤️
(Isaiah 64:8 NIV)
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
