In 2021, Yehezkiel Yohanes Lampah, a director and an alumnus of Mission Motivators, visited Wamena, a mountain province in Papua, and shared his journey as a missionary and revivalist, including his studies in Israel.
At that time, I had never aspired to become a pastor or missionary. My dream was to be a pilot, since the only way to reach our mountain village was by plane, and the ministry had never crossed my mind. But hearing Yehezkiel’s story stirred something deep within me. The pastors in Papua began to see a unique potential in my life, and Yehezkiel encouraged me to go to Jakarta to enroll in a mission school in Bekasi. At first, my only goal was to improve my English, and I resisted the idea of ministry, believing that women in my denomination were not allowed to preach.
In early 2023, Yehezkiel told me that I would be sent to the Philippines for mission training. Traveling alone from Jakarta to Davao, I began to see God’s calling more clearly during my time at the Mission Motivators Center. As I trained, my heart gradually grew with a burden to pray for the nations, and I came to fully embrace my calling as a missionary. Now, I serve as a staff member at the School of Missions in Sulawesi, Indonesia under Yehezkiel, working alongside missionaries from the Philippines.
