With moment I stepped into this new journey, everything felt different – yet deeply meaningful. My daily routine shifted from the familiar rhythm of morning banking work to a new life filled with household responsibilities and classes rich with purposeful discussions.
At first, I experienced culture shock. I found myself surrounded by people of different nationalities, backgrounds, and personalities. Adjusting to the culture of the School of Missions, Mission Motivators – with its structured schedules, rules, and daily activities – was not easy. Yet through it all, I could see how God was at work in every detail.
My first real struggle was the longing to return to my comfort zone – my home and my home church, where everything felt familiar and where people spoke the same language and shared the same culture. It wasn’t easy to let go. But as the Lord spoke through His Word, reminding me that “His thoughts are higher than my thoughts,” He began to stir new visions in my heart – visions for churches and for the lost.
Now, my heart desires to do more for Him: to intercede for the Body of Christ, to pray for more laborers in the harvest field, and to weep for the lost. Above all, I long to follow His will as He leads me deeper into His mission.
