The Great Commission is the mission that’s been given to every disciples of Jesus Christ to go into the World and share the Good News of His love in sending Jesus to die for our sins.
In Matthew 28 Jesus said, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them everything I have told you.” when He prayed to our Heavenly Father and said, “In the same way that you gave Me a mission in the world, I give them a mission in the world.” And again in John 20:21 Jesus said, “As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.”God has put the future of the world into OUR hands. You and I have been given the responsibility to share the Good News which will determine the eternal destiny of everybody on Earth. And so our mission is to continue what He started.
Today there’s growing interest in the second coming of Christ and the end of the Word. Jesus said on Acts 1:7and 8 in essence, ” The details of my return are none of your business. What is your business is the mission I’ve given you. Focus on that!” I pray that you will always lookout to reach “WIN SOULS FOR JESUS!” and NAKE DISCIPLES of all Nations!
