Greetings in the Highest Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! The song says, “Through it all I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God.” For the past few months that has really been our song as God brought us through the national election, through the repetitive mass rallies and other political disturbances, through the first trimester of pregnancy, through ministerial and marital adjustments, through the heat, the rain, and the flood; through it all we Praise God Almighty for drawing us closer to Him. It was an amazing ride but with God in our vessel truly we have peace that surpasses all understanding. The political situation in the country is not yet settled but we believe that the God who brought us through the beginning of this problem will see us through until the end. Since July we started sending our youths to do ministry in the village as part of their training. It wasn’t an easy transition but by God’s grace everyone who went to the village came back full of joy and inspiration. Eventually they began to love the village ministry. Indeed we can say that they are growing both in physical and spiritual aspect. Then we started teaching different types of religion to better equip our members about the differences of all that they will not be deceived. Moreover, it also helps everyone to know how to reach out to them and deal with them whenever they encounter them. Also it prepares them to give an answer whenever they are challenged to explain their faith to others. This month we launched our first evangelistic night in the church. We had our members invite their unbelieving friends or relatives to join us in our church activity. We prepared skit (the sinner’s seat), food, games and of course the Word of God. There were around 30 people who attended. There were mixed comments that we have received after the event but there some who are ready to know more about the Bible. We are continually praying for all that God will open their eyes to receive His words. We have planted the seed and we believe that God will give us the harvest in due season. It’s also our joy to be able to share the joy of the Lord to all of them showing them that they don’t need to go to clubs or other places to have fun. But we can have fun and still glorify God.
ALL PRAISES AND ADORATION BELONGS TO HIM ALONE..
