The visit of our beloved President, Dr. Paul Kim was stunning. We arrived in Cape Coast (Central Region) for Mission Conference with Pastors and Church Leaders after the powerful move of the Spirit with IAFB church in Kumasi hosted by Rev. Eric Gyasi Nimako. This Mission Conference was a blast! The Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God was so fired up with his leaders that they have decided to make policies that will directly affect their Mission Strategies in their Region. Other Denominational Leaders were also excited and inviting us to have two major conferences in that particular region; one with the Church Leaders; and the other with University students.
We slept overnight and Dr. Kim preached the next day. After that Sunday service, we “saddle our ass” and hit on the road, back to Accra, because Dr. Kim would be teaching MM-SOM students the following day. We had our most difficult problem with the car! The car totally broke down and that we got stuck in the middle of nowhere for hours until finally, the Vice President of MM-Africa, Rev. George Abraham used his car to tolled us all the way from Cape Coast road to Accra! After Dr. Kim’s one week lectures, the students (MM-SOM Africa) had an awesome, power-packed graduation.
Our original plan was to send two of the students to Libya since MM-Africa is targeting North Africa and Eastern Europe as our main Mission Fields. But as most of you know, Libya is not “safe” right now so we have decided to send our first missionaries to another Muslim Country call “Burkina Faso” who has similar characteristics of our originally planned mission field. So I will be going to an “undisclosed” country with one of the staffs to prepare the place for our first MM Africa missionaries. Since the country is a French speaking country, those two students will be having an intensive French class by next month.
The next batch will start this coming June. Your prayers are highly appreciated.
