Church in Indonesia, Arise and Shine!

Two years ago our President, Dr. Paul Kim was telling us that we are going to open a base and send missionaries to Indonesia. From that time on we prayed every day concerning the possibilities of the plan. At some point a woman, Ebbo Detty from Manado, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia visited our Prayer Tower in M’lang, North Cotabato. Our Prayer Tower Director, Sir Jovan Juromay, suggested if she could visit our School of Missions in Samal City. During her two days visit she came to know and understand that we are training missionaries and send those who are ready and willing to different countries. She asked if they could send students also to study in our school and talk for the possibilities for us to minister to churches in Indonesia to challenge them to get involved in world mission. It all started through the desire of our President and the Lord our God who is the Lord of Mission arranged everything people may not know that it’s God who is directing our ways. Praise God for those who are always willing to obey God without question like Ebbo Detty from Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, through her God open the door for mission in Indonesia conducted Global Mission Seminar in Apollos Mission Theological School headed by Rev. Rudy Lumenta.
The school decided to send 100 missionaries to different countries to do cross-cultural missions. Bitung is part of North Sulawesi it is 1hour and 30minutes away from Manado its capital city. This church belongs to Four Square Gospel Church. They will send students next batch. Next church we visited was Maranatha church in Manado church belongs to Bethany Church Organization some youth leaders responded to the call as missionary and will be coming to study next batch. Though this church is still young but is willing to support for mission and will send missionaries to different part of the world. They will also send students in the school next batch. Though the time is very short we had visited 2 more church and had pastor’s seminar that takes only less than 2 hours. Still more than 30 pastors gathered and were challenge and responded to be part of global mission.
