God has been so good to us this October. We’ve been through a lot but God has seen us through. The church is still moving. As you can see, we had our first wedding here. The bride is a member but the groom is not. In Ghana Christian tradition, the marriage ceremony must be held in the bride’s church. So 90% of the people were from the bride’s relatives and not all of the groom’s guests and relatives are our members. Our members are about 30 people only. But this wedding enlarged our vision.
We are still working on the written constitution to be sent to our leaders for final approval. Once a constitution is approved by the leaders, we will officially register the organization. Ghana has so many churches but the biggest problem is lack of proper education for pastors especially my generation of pastors.
So next year we plan to have a website and brochures to adopt small churches under us. We will train the pastors of these small churches and give them the logistic supports that they need to be more effective in the ministry.
Also we would like to start long distance MA Misiology program. This is a program people can hardly wait to get involve as I’ve been hearing it. So I’m in talks with people who can help us start that. This will end up being a school and hopefully university! We serve a big God!
