Year 2009. It’s a New Year, a new opportunity to
renew our vow, commitment or covenant to God. And so
with us here in MM-SOM Davao.
After the success of the Batch 16, the director together with his family and the staffs had the privilege to go home to have vacation with their respective family. As missionaries, though we are in so-called vacation, as the Lord opened opportunities, we still on the go for ministries. We met people whom we know could be our mission partners, accepted invitations of preaching and other works for His vineyard. And after spending the Holiday Seasons with our families, we officially came back to the school on January 12 and started working again.
Two other new staffs accepted the call as they
see the need. They are Sis. Sheryl Talamor and Sis.
Arlyn Porras, the Vice President and the
Secretary/Treasurer of the SBO Batch 16 and Ptr.
Rolando Salado Jr., the SBO President of Batch 16 as a
volunteer staff.
At the moment, we are all busy preparing the
training ground as we believe that this upcoming batch
will be better, more students, and still continually striving
for excellence. On the week days, we are cleaning and
doing gardening in the school and on Sundays, we are
going to the churches for promotion. We are also doing
crusades in coordination to the local churches. Moreover,
Bible studies, children’s ministry, campus ministry and
house-to-house visitation are still on-going.
We are praying and believing that 20 students are
coming for Batch 17. Please continually be with us on
your knees.
From June, Director of SOM DAVAO, Philippines
