Dear Partners
Missions is not always easy. Hard times may arise that might lead you to frustration and then giving up. I am one of those, there were times that I almost give up thinking that home is always the best.
Thailand is a big room for ministry, big enough that your little work won’t even be recognized. But we know that it is not our work that matters, it is the work of Jesus that really matters.
For one and a half year I stayed in MM base in Nonthaburi. We had some ministries but it dies naturally leaving no trace behind. Yet I hope that the seed we planted will not go to waste.
Now, I am staying in Pathumtani, northern part of Bangkok . In here, I am privilege to work with a Filipino congregation. They are a big help in times of loneliness. And through that church, another ministry is born. One of the richest fellows in this community, Mr Panyahcai known as Khun Mho, asks the church to help him learn English. Our pastor appoints me. Not only simple English he learns, but also the Bible.
And this leads to another ministry as well. Khun Mho helps me find an apartment. He brought me to a small villa and in that place, about 45 to 50 families are living. We gather the children and teach them. We started with 10 and hoping to get more students. Not only the children are learning, parents are also participating. They even provide a help for us. My sister and my girlfriend are now helping me with this ministry.
I do not know what will happened with this ministry, what I know is that God put a burden in our heart and without question we should obey. It could be hard, yet we know that it is rewarding.
Thank you very much for your partnership, thank you very much for your prayers.
In Christ,
Efraim, Missionary
